Privacy Policy
What we collect
KISOU has no accounts, no sign-up and no advertising. It never asks for your name, your email or your location, because it does not need them to run a race.

What leaves your device
- An anonymous player ID
- When you first race online, the app creates an anonymous account with our backend provider, Supabase. It is a random identifier. There is no email address, no password and no name attached to it, and it is not linked to your Apple Account.
- Match data
- For each online race we store the match: a random track seed, the chosen difficulty and landscape, both players' anonymous IDs, the distance each player reached, the final scores, the winner, the invite code if one was used, and timestamps. This is what lets two devices run the same race and agree on who won.
- Live position, while a race is running
- During a race your device broadcasts your position on the track, your distance, and which obstacles you have hit, so your rival can see your ship move. These messages are ephemeral — they are relayed between the two devices and are not written to any database.
What stays on your device
Your personal statistics, your best times, your equipped skin, your selected landscape and the list of lobby opponents are stored only on your iPhone. They are never uploaded. Deleting the app deletes them.
What we never collect
- Your name, email address or phone number
- Your location
- Contacts, photos, calendars, or any other device content
- Advertising identifiers — KISOU shows no ads and does not track you across apps
- Analytics or behavioural profiling of any kind
Apple's own services
Leaderboards and achievements run through Game Center, and purchases run through the App Store. Both are operated by Apple under Apple's privacy policy, not ours. We never see your payment details, and we receive only confirmation that a purchase is valid.
Who processes the data
Match data is hosted by Supabase on our behalf. We do not sell, rent or share any data with anyone else, and there are no advertising or analytics partners in the app.
How long we keep it
Match records are kept so that leaderboards and results stay consistent. They contain nothing that identifies you as a person. You can ask us to delete the records tied to your anonymous ID at any time by writing to the address below.
Children
KISOU is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them. Since the app collects no personal information from anyone, there is nothing about a child for us to hold.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it, and the updated version appears here before it takes effect.
